Our air conditioning broke on Friday and “emergency” service can’t get out until tomorrow.

Unfortunately it’s just too hot in our shop for our patrons and staff.

Hoping it’s an easy fix that is remedied tomorrow. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Better tag your bookish bestie before summer is over.

I couldn’t find a bookish bathing suit to stock at the boutique, so I designed my own. 💁🏻‍♀️ High quality, fully lined, substantial fabric so your lady parts don’t show through. (Hey, if you know you know 😉)

This Get Lit exclusive design is available online in size XS-3X. I’m wearing a large (which is my normal size in a one piece because I’m tall and have a long torso.)

Stealing is lame no matter how you slice it, but stealing from a small business is pretty low. We aren’t some faceless corporation that can absorb theft. This business has a face, my face. And when you steal from my shop, you are quite literally stealing from me. We don’t operate on huge margins. A $54 item walking out the door is $54 out of my pocket.

So here’s a PSA to the gem who stole a HARRY POTTER BRACELET: the next time you feel compelled to use your five finger discount, check your entitlement at the door, and keep your hands in your pockets. Better yet, stay home. ✌🏼
