There is this tender little moment after a child creates something and puts it out into the world.

The excitement is real.
The hope is tangible.
And the waiting is a part of it too.

Eva has been so excited about the Pocket Pals Collection for months. She helped name each design, talked about which kids might love them, helped me get them ready for the website, and has been asking every day if any of her Pocket Pals have found their people yet. 🐾

That’s the part people don’t always see behind a product post.

They see a purse.
She sees a dream.
She sees the collection she has been waiting to share and a little piece of her creativity stepping out into the world.

The Pocket Pals Collection is playful, cheerful, and full of personality, made for kids, animal lovers, gift-givers, encouragers, and anyone who believes small things can carry big joy.

Each purse has its own name and meaning:

🐶 Party Pups — joy, laughter, movement, and celebrating the little things.

We are also working toward a special goal. Eva and Elijah are signed up for a children’s entrepreneur fair on August 1, and we would love to sell 10 purses to help them step into that opportunity prepared and encouraged.

🎉 The Pocket Pals Collection is officially LIVE! 🐾✨

This is the collection Eva has been the most excited to share. It is playful, colorful, full of personality, and perfect for kids, gifts, early Christmas shopping, or a sweet random act of kindness.

We only have a limited number of each design, about 6–10 purses per style, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

A few local store owners have already shown possible interest in Carry Hope by Eva, and we’re getting ready for upcoming vendor markets too. So before we pack up inventory for events and possible shop opportunities, we wanted to give our online friends first chance to grab one at a lower price.

We usually share the happy pictures and fun videos from Carry Hope by Eva, but I want to share something different today.

Carry Hope by Eva was born out of a place of pursuing hope ourselves. It wasn’t created because life was easy—it was created because we all need hope when life doesn’t go the way we planned.

Yesterday, Eva had a fun idea. She wanted to make a dance video featuring all six purses in the new collection, and we were going to edit it so the purse magically changed as she danced. She was so excited…until I hit record.

She froze.

She got frustrated.

She gave up.

But sometimes those are the very best teaching moments.

Instead of pushing her, I reminded her of conversations we’ve had before—about perseverance, but also about the stories we tell ourselves. Instead of saying, “I can’t,” maybe the truth is, “I don’t want to do this right now,” or “I’ve changed my mind.” And that’s okay.

She never did go back to the dance video.

But today was a new day.

Today she chose to do something else that felt hard. It wasn’t dancing—it was climbing to the top of a huge waterslide and finally going down it on our very first trip to the pool this summer. I was so proud of her.

As parents, we don’t always have to push. And honestly, we don’t always have to push ourselves either. There are times to persevere through discomfort, and there are times when the healthiest thing to do is give ourselves grace and adjust the plan.

So if something didn’t go the way you hoped yesterday…if you disappointed yourself, felt frustrated, or couldn’t do what you thought you should…

Let yesterday stay in yesterday.

Today is a new day.

Give yourself grace.

Keep growing.

And whatever you do…don’t lose hope. 💛

Eva got to make her first little product promo reel today, and it was extra special because it was for our amazing friend Debs at Lucy’s Library. 💛📚🐾

I had the opportunity to help edit Debs’ manuscript, and I truly cannot wait for this children’s book to be published. It is such a heartwarming story about a very funny dog, and I already know kids are going to love it.

Debs ended up ordering the cutest little library book bags from Carry Hope by Eva, and they came in the mail today. The kids were so excited when we opened them…now we just need the book to put inside! 😍
