Time to make the table elegant again.

Before flatware became something we grabbed in a box at Target, a good set of sterling silver could be a family possession ….purchased for a wedding, added to over the years, used for holidays and special dinners, and eventually passed down to the next generation.

This beautiful 61-piece set is S. Kirk & Son sterling silver in their iconic Repoussé pattern, a design introduced in Baltimore in 1828. Nearly two centuries later, that incredible floral pattern still looks pretty spectacular on a table.

And this isn’t silver plates…each marked piece is sterling silver.

There’s something we love about objects like this. They were made to be beautiful, made to be used, and made to last.

Maybe it’s time to bring the fancy table back.

Before there was Richmond, there was Torah.

This little ruby glass souvenir is etched “Torah, Minn.”…a name the town carried until 1909, when it officially became Richmond.

It’s incredible to think that this simple glass survived while the town’s original name faded into history over a century ago. Pieces like this aren’t just antiques…..they’re tangible reminders of the stories, places, and people that came before us.

History matters. That’s exactly why we love preserving and sharing pieces like this.

Vinyl people… this one’s for you.

We just brought in 2,500+ records.

What you’re seeing here is only 20 of the 28 boxes we picked up, and honestly, there’s no way we can process them all right now. We also don’t have the space to put everything out at once.

So here’s the deal…

We’re putting the boxes by the front counter at Metz all weekend. Pull up a stool and start digging.

Nothing is priced yet, but we promise to be more than fair. If you find something you want, just bring it to the counter and we’ll work out a price.

There are classics, folk, jazz, rock, country, soul, Broadway, hip hop, easy listening, and who knows what else hiding in these boxes. That’s the fun of it.

If you’re one of our regular vinyl hunters, this is your chance to dig before these records disappear into back stock.

Some pieces deserve to find the right home.

This Sony reel-to-reel powers on and the reels spin, but it’ll need new belts before it sings again. And honestly…I hope it finds the right person.

The real treasure might be what’s sitting beside it.

A stack of hand-labeled reels. Someone spent hours (maybe years) carefully recording favorite songs and building the perfect collection. Led Zeppelin, Traffic, Neil Young, Peter, Paul & Mary, CCR, The Beatles…each reel is a little time capsule.

This isn’t just an old tape deck. It’s a chance to bring someone’s soundtrack back to life.

Time has a way of finding its way to Metz & Co.

We’ve quietly been building a collection of vintage watches..from everyday Timex and Bulova classics to funky ‘70s pieces, dive watches, automatics, and a few that might surprise you.

We don’t have every watch out in the cases. Some are tucked away for safekeeping, so if you’re hunting for something specific (or just love old watches), just ask nicely. There’s a good chance we’ve got a few more waiting in the back.

Whether you’re looking for your first vintage watch, replacing one your grandpa used to wear, or adding to your collection, stop in and take a look. You never know what time you’ll find.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate a flannel that’s just on a different level.

A vintage Pendleton has always been a step above. The quality of the wool, the craftsmanship, and the way they wear in over decades is why they’re still sought after 50+ years later.

This late ’60s Pendleton is no exception. The plaid is incredible, the original translucent red buttons are the perfect finishing touch, and the beautifully repaired elbow patches tell the story of a shirt that was simply too good to retire.

File this one away for those late summer nights around the bonfire, evenings at the lake, or a cool night on the deck. You’ll be glad you did.
