PAWS Thrift Store is currently looking to fill the following position:
Customer Service/Donation Processor
Position Summary
This person splits their time as needed between processing incoming donations and customer service.
Processing incoming donations includes thanking donors as they drop off donations, offering help to unload their vehicle. Then prepare the items for sale by sorting, organizing, cleaning, and pricing.
Customer service includes welcoming customers, explaining the sales for the day, offering help, answering questions and checking the customers' sales out using a POS. Also responsible for maintaining the sales floor, keeping it organized and presentable for the customers.
Position Requirements
35 - 40 Hours per week, Tuesday thru Saturday
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Must be able to bend and stand for long periods of time
Must have a driver's license with clean driving record
Must be able to drive a passenger van
Good interpersonal skills is a must for working with customers
Friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to work well in a team environment
Retail experience of at least six months
