There are no words to express my gratitude for everyone who stopped today, all week and even all through this closing sale. And most of all your heartfelt kind words. I truly am very blessed❤️❤️❤️❤️. I didn’t shed to many tears today and I made it through.
One of my dear customers Linda Baird Schwager even brought me flowers (from Farmside Floral) and some amazing cinnamon rolls (from Batter Up Bakery) (which as you can see, Mike tested and yes Linda-they are truly the very best 😃😃).
My appreciation to everyone is indescribable.

The most beautiful part of having Collage Saint James has been meeting and visiting with so many dear people!!! Today, these two St. James ladies happen to meet at my counter and started visiting. Turns out, if you can believe it, Janet turned 90 a few months ago and Marlene will turn 90 in a week 😃😃!!! They knew each other years & years ago before they even married, but I don’t believe have talked much since. They shared lots of memories about back when including where they worked and lived here in town. God’s blessings to all of my dear customers whom I’ve been privileged to get to know❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Me posting this may raise eyebrows and draw criticism. While it may be to late for my small business, people out there need to understand what is happening out there. And may I give my hats off to Hilary Mathis, the mayor of Windom who is concerned enough to share this post. I know Tanya from Classy & Sassy (who wrote this post) well and she and I for months have talked and shared our frustrations and sadness. Our local people need to support their small businesses and not expect out of town people to keep their main streets vibrant. Being a twice shared post, I cannot share what Mayor Hilary wrote in her opening comment on Tanya’s post, but what she said is “Wherever you are, read this and try to shop local when you can❤️. They are literally the backbones of your communities “.
