Had this vintage chest for a while . ( Thank you Deb Young). I decided it was time to repurpose it. I didn’t take a before pic- I’ve primed and painted it. I know what I’m going to do with it- I have a plan. What would you use it for?

I’ve started on Fall Creations. Our Fall Market at The Potting Shed will here before you know it. Crows used to be very popular but times have changed. I love Sunflowers and Crows so that’s what I’m starting with to get me inspired. I’m also working on some Sunflower and crow pokes. Do you decorated with Crows in the Fall or is that out?

Hi all- hope you’re getting ready for an awesome summer. I’m on a creating break till June when I start on Fall Stuff. I did make a quick trip to Roanoke Virginia to pick up my new puppy and stopped at Black Dog Salvage. I went with a friend and we each took a dog. Black Dog Salvage is huge. Really unique stuff in it and the people were super friendly. I picked up a few pieces to use in the Markets and of course I got a T Shirt!

If you arn’t following Prims by Kim here’s her page . I’ve followed her for a while. She’s a Primitive artist one lady show. She’s where I learned how to do spun cotton crafts. She started at the bottom and worked her way up to a nice customer base. Let’s help her get to 20,000 followers by following and sharing.

I’ve had a lot of new followers lately, and I just hit over 19,000! That is huge to me. I know there are others that have much more than that, but this is huge for me. 🙂 Something that truly means so much to me. I’m incredibly proud of this little side business and how much it’s grown over the years.

Someone recently asked me to help promote their creations because they were struggling to get sales. I completely understand, it was like that for me for a long time when i first started. It doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, patience, and building trust with happy, repeat customers.

I started years ago selling on eBay, at first it took forever to make a sale. but after a while, i had followers there and would make sales more quickly. Over time, I built a loyal customer base. I even had a small gift shop at one point that didn’t succeed—but looking back now, I think it would be a different story today. I then became a designer for a wholesale company and did that for a few years. Eventually, I found FB and created this page, and in time, my ebay followers found me and then some lol.

This business has grown to the point where I could probably do it as my full-time job, but I am too chicken to take that leap! For now, I’m just so grateful to be able to do what I love. Creating has truly become a passion of mine. I find inspiration everywhere, whether it’s driving and see something along the way, maybe a walk in the woods or the simplest things around me, my mind is always thinking up something new. And i love that!

Thank you all so much for following along and supporting my small business. It truly means the world to me.
How about if we get it to 20,000 we do something fun and i do a giveway?!!! We have some time, i will make something and then we can think of a fun way to drawn a name or something. So if you see this post and have not already liked and followed my page , then please do so! 🙂 my point of this post is just to let people that may not already know, or have not followed me along the way, know how it all started for me. Anybody interested in these two vintage card cutouts of Abe and George? Great for Patriotic decorating and crafting. They are in fair condition- 11 inches long. Abe has a crease at the bottom. $20 for both , ship additional. .
