To all the women who have had breast cancer, or are facing it, or about to face it, or maybe are waiting right now on biopsy results or having surgery. How does your top drawer look? Molded cup bras should always be stacked like in this photo. Folding the cups inside each other is a no no because it changes to cup shape which is designed to support. Having 3 or more every day bras to rotate will make your investment last longer.
Take inventory of your top drawer and discard or donate bras that are no longer serving you.

Bra extenders are okay to use for a few reasons.
1.To break in a new bra until it stretches (typically about 10 wears)
2. If you suffer from an inflammatory issue such as asthma.
3. If you are pregnant and not ready to move up a to a larger size.

Keep in mind that when adding an extender you want just 1-2 extra rows added to the band to give you 1/2 to 1 inch of added width. A bra SHOULD feel SNUG and hug your body. Support comes from the band and lifts from underneath. If it’s too lose the bra will ride up your back, straps will need to be shortened and will pressure on your shoulders causing trenching. If you are trying to achieve the perfect fit in your own don’t. Bra fittings by a professional, certified bra fitter are free. Why wouldn’t you take advantage of expert advice? To make things super easy, I offer virtual fittings that take just 15 minutes and have clients nationwide.
