✨ A little bit of truth from me today…
For a long time, I spent so much energy supporting others. Cheering them on. Sharing ideas. Offering encouragement. Opening doors. Making connections. Believing that if I showed up with kindness, everyone around me would do the same.
Mostly they do
Sometimes they don't
I’ve watched people take inspiration from things I’ve created, use ideas I freely shared, and walk away when they no longer needed me. It deeply stung, but letting myself acknowledge that pain was the exact turning point I needed. I am not bitter; I am forever stronger because of it. This healing season has taught me something important:
No one can be me.
They can borrow an idea.
They can recreate a look.
They can imitate a style.
But they cannot replicate the heart and soul behind it.
The lessons. The failures. The resilience. The late nights. The risks. The passion. The community. The love. The purpose.
Those things belong to me. God protects the Light He gave me and I finally see it ☀️
For the first time in a very long time, I truly love who I am. Not because everything has been easy—but because I’ve survived things that could have broken me and somehow became stronger, kinder, and more myself in the process.
So here’s to showing up authentically. To supporting others without losing yourself. To building community without sacrificing your worth.
I am endlessly grateful for the massive village of wonderful, supportive women in my life who pour into me just as much as I pour into them. You all inspire me daily, and it’s your constant encouragement that keeps me looking forward to some really exciting things on the horizon. ✨
And if you’ve ever felt overlooked, used, underestimated, or taken for granted, I’d love to hear your story.
Come see me at the June 13-Twilight Market on Main Stop 301 this weekend. Let’s connect, shop local, support one another, and celebrate the things that make each of us uniquely ourselves. ❤️
