Happening this week at Coastal House…

✏️ Drop off SCHOOL SUPPLIES now - 8/10 to support our local teachers

🖼️ Monday brings a restock of original art from Brixhina Murtaj

☕️ This month we get coffee pop ups on Tuesdays! First up is Coffee & Cocktail Catering Tampa Bay with iced coffees made to order (inside) from 10-1p.

✂️ Half Proced Craftivities in the Craft Cafe all day Tuesday!

☕️ Catch littlefikacoffee out back on Thursdays all month long! Come grab a drink (hot or iced) and shop, craft, or work.

🎨 Thursday night we’re painting handmade ceramic wall vases with Hannah Lawson pottery & things 🧚‍♀️ starting at 7pm. There are a few tickets left if you want to join! 🎟️ at the link in bio

🤤 Friday brings our favorite sweet treats, Melipona Bakery Pop Tarts! 10am - sell out or connect with Melipona Bakery directly to preorder.

It’s time for Good Company again! Our monthly(ish) gathering for small business owners to connect, share honestly, & grow together.

This month we’re going to talk about BALANCE.

Being a small business owner can be all consuming, but we all know it’s important to step away, pass things off, and find rhythms that allow us to enjoy life outside of our work. 

On Tuesday, August 18th, we’ll talk about things like:

What does balance look like as a small business owner? 
In what ways do you struggle with finding balance?
What tips do you have that help you with finding a work/life balance?

As always, this isn’t a space for all the answers. But we will gather together to remind ourselves that we aren’t alone and hopefully learn something from a new friend.

Welp, I turn 40 this month and I’m determined to enter a new decade feeling strong, proud, and whimsical af. 😂

Help me celebrate by helping me do good and finding joy this August!

1️⃣ Donate school supplies at Home Goods Shop + Craft Cafe | Secondhand + Handmade now - 8/10 to give to classrooms that need it 📝

2️⃣ Attend our workshops all month to embrace joy & whimsy. 🎟️ $10 of every ticket purchased will go towards our big fundraising goal…

3️⃣ Help me raise $4,000 for NOMAD Studio to help them continue to use the power of art to help build happier, more connected communities 🫶

We will host an online auction later this month where all funds will go to Nomad Studio along with a portion of our workshop tickets.

Time to do some good together! Starting tomorrow we are collecting school supplies to gift to schools and teachers in our community.

Drop off sharpened # 2 pencils, blue or black pens, glue sticks, Lysol wipes, dry erase markers, and sticky notes.

You’re welcome to bring additional items like wide or college ruled paper, composition, notebooks, and other commonly used school supplies.

Our starting list is based off some of the most common items that teachers run out of and our hope is to help keep them stocked a little longer so that they’re not having to purchase these items out of their personal funds.

Look for the sign and basket in store tomorrow - August 10th and help us do a little good for our community. 🫶
