Where The Locals Dine | Pass-A-Grille At St Pete Beach

Next time you go to the beach, take some time out and ask one of the locals about their favorite spots to eat on the beach. The local usually know the best spots that are fun and affordable. It's a great strategy for avoiding the tourist traps that overcharge and under-deliver :-)

One of our favorite things to do when we go to the beach is find a place the locals go and just have a casual meal on the beach. Just enjoy the surf and the wind and the breeze and take in some scenic views. Seems like a lot of places we found have a local musician playing steel drums or guitar and just playing some Jimmy Buffett music.

We usually order something casual, like a BLT, hamburger or maybe a fish sandwitch or something like that. And a beer and a margarita or beer and a sangria are great with the beach views.

Sometimes after dinner we'll take a walk on the shoreline and just enjoy the scenery. The other option is just take your own and find a quiet spot on the beach, get out there with some chairs and just enjoy a quiet meal. Watch out for the seagulls though, they'll steal your dinner.
