Something exciting is coming to The Little People Place… 🎭🎤

After the fantastic response to Big Sing, we're taking performing arts to the next level!

This September we're introducing NEW performing arts opportunities for ages 3–12 — with singing, acting, movement, imagination and plenty of opportunities to perform.

And for our older performers… Big Sing + Drama are coming together.

Two programs. One stage.

Plus, we're already planning our first combined Christmas production! 🎄⭐

FORENSIC SCIENCE LAB 🧪
AGES 11–14 | 6-WEEK HANDS-ON SCIENCE COURSE
One Case. Six Weeks of Science. Can You Solve It?
Designed specifically for ages 11–14, Forensic Science Lab uses the excitement of a fictional investigation to teach real scientific concepts and laboratory skills.
Across six weeks, students investigate one continuing case while exploring chemistry, biology and forensic science.
Students will learn and apply:
🧪 Chemistry – Test and identify unknown substances through chemical reactions
🖊️ Chromatography – Separate and compare pigments found in inks
👆 Fingerprint Science – Investigate fingerprint patterns, classification and comparison
🔬 Microscopy & Trace Evidence – Examine and compare fibers and other trace evidence
🔎 Scientific Observation – Accurately observe, measure, document and collect evidence
🧠 Scientific Method & Reasoning – Form hypotheses, conduct tests, analyze results and draw evidence-based conclusions
Each week reveals new evidence and a new scientific investigation, with students recording their findings in their own case file.
👮 Meet a Forensic Professional
Students will also have the opportunity to learn about real forensic science careers and discover how science is used in professional investigations.
🚨 Week 6: Solve the Case!
Students bring together six weeks of laboratory results and evidence to determine what happened — and prove their conclusion using science.
