We’ve got mood rings, nostalgic candy, colorful retro cups, and YES…that glorious teal-and-pink squiggle print that seemed to be on every fast-food cup in the 90s. IYKYK. 😉

It’s Steve’s favorite, it’s ridiculously good, and we promise this one is NOT vintage. 🤣

Did you know we put new items out every single day at Thriftwood? And if you want the best chance of snagging something before anyone else, make a beeline for our NEW ARRIVALS rack! 👀

That’s where the newest pieces land first, including vintage finds, higher-end pieces, and all those random little treasures we get ridiculously excited about. 😂

New items are added to the rack daily and typically hang out there for about a day before making their way onto the regular sales floor. So if you’re one of those people who loves finding the good stuff before everybody else does… this is your spot.

And yes, the pieces in these photos are some of our newest arrivals. 😍 Vintage dresses, florals, lace, velvet, and plenty more where those came from!

🐾 NATIONAL DOG DAY — WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26! 🐾

If there’s one thing you should know about the people behind Thriftwood, it’s that we are HUGE dog lovers. ❤️🐕❤️🐕‍🦺❤️

I’m not going to tell you exactly how many dogs we have because I don’t need that kind of judgment in my life. 😂 Let’s just say that when an animal needs a home, neither Steve nor I has ever been particularly good at being the voice of reason.

“Absolutely not. We cannot bring home another dog.”

…has probably been said in our house approximately 47 seconds before bringing home another dog. 🤣

So of course, while we have free candy at Thriftwood for our two-legged customers, we also keep treats on hand for our four-legged visitors! 🐶❤️

In honor of National Dog Day, we’d also love to give a little shoutout to the amazing local shelters, rescues, volunteers, fosters, and adopters who work tirelessly to give animals the lives they deserve.

If you’re able, please consider donating to a local shelter or rescue — whether it’s money, food, blankets, supplies, or even a little of your time.

And if you’ve been thinking about adding a furry family member someday, please consider fostering or adopting. There are so many wonderful dogs just waiting for someone to become their person.

And yes… we realize we are probably the LAST people who should be encouraging anyone to bring home another dog. 😂🐾

Three weeks. THREE WEEKS! 🥹❤️

Thriftwood has officially been open for just three weeks, and somehow more than 600 of you have already decided to follow along with our little adventure. 🥹❤️🥹

Now, 600 followers might not sound like a huge number in the giant world of social media… but to us? It’s HUGE.

That’s 600+ people who have liked, shared, commented, stopped in, told a friend about us, laughed at our ridiculous posts, played BINGO Boogie, dug through our racks, found a treasure, or simply cheered us on from the sidelines.

When we opened Thriftwood, we hoped people would “get” what we were trying to create. Not just another vintage store, but a fun, slightly weird, nostalgic little place where you never quite know what you’re going to find.

And you all have embraced us more than we ever could have hoped. 🩷

Every purchase, every share, every review, every “you have to check this place out,” and every person who walks through our door means more to this little small business than you probably realize.

So from the bottom of our hearts…

Last but certainly not least… CONCERT/BAND T’S! 🎸🤘

We’ve got a boatload of concert tees. And not just those replica ones you see at the mall… okay, maybe a few. 😂 But most are straight from the era and straight from the concert.

Vintage Van Halen, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Alice in Chains, Tool, Disturbed, GWAR, Manowar, Arch Enemy and more — and what you’re seeing here is just a fraction of what we have.
