Friday Feature ~ This week’s Friday Feature is about a family of entrepreneurs at The Fussy Duck but it’s specifically about this family’s two youngest members. It’s also a teaser to encourage people to come tomorrow to their special event where you can meet them in person and, well, I’ll just let them tell you more…
When I asked out young entrepreneurs how they started their business (see attached pictures) they said, “We started 3d printing a year or so ago. We bought one to make cool things, and now we have 3, so we can make lots more! We realized other kids and people like the things we create, so (The Fussy Duck owner) Risa let us sell at Fussy Duck. There are alot of really cool things that can be printed!
My mom has sold things at Fussy Duck for years. So we always came with her to drop things off and arrange things. So when we could sell things, this was the place! There is always really cool things to see at Fussy Duck. We always look for the gift cards that Risa hides!”
They were happy to share the details of their upcoming event, “This Saturday we are selling customizable pens. You get to choose the colors, pens and special charms. It is really fun!”
When asked what they would say to other kids interested in starting their own business the boys said, “It is cool to make our own money so that we can buy the things that we want! We can save our money to buy something big like a Playstation or buy a bunch of sports cards. It is cool to be your own boss and make your own money!”
Fun Facts ~ “We both like to play sports - football, basketball, amd baseball. At home we like to take care of our many animals. We love to collect sports cards - baseball and football are our favorite ones.”
