A second grader in Greensboro, North Carolina, made a wish with a “genie lamp,” unaware her mom was waiting to surprise her.

The tears. The hug. The words, “I missed you so much.”

A life dedicated to service. A family forever changed. 💙

Fallen Philadelphia Police Officer Shane Seiber was escorted to the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, where loved ones and fellow officers gathered to honor his life.

An Air Force veteran who served two tours in Iraq, Seiber continued serving his community in uniform. He leaves behind his wife and two children.

All of us at SRVS Gear hold his family, the Philadelphia Police Department, and his wounded partner in our hearts.

We honor his service and remember the man behind the badge. 🇺🇸

LSU student Leah Fonte and her fiancé, firefighter Shane Hirstius, were escorted from the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office to a funeral home in Metairie, less than a week after a crash on Nicholson Drive claimed their lives.

Our hearts are with their families, loved ones, and Shane’s fire family as they mourn this heartbreaking loss. 🤍

A police K-9 suddenly leaps over a concrete barrier and falls onto I-80 below, sending officers scrambling to save him.

Bruno was helping investigate a suspicious object when he unexpectedly jumped over the barrier. Officers immediately radioed that the dog was down and rushed to his side.

In a heartbreaking moment, one officer comforts the injured K-9 and keeps him from trying to stand as emergency help is called.

Bruno suffered two broken legs and a jaw injury. After receiving treatment at a Salt Lake City animal hospital, he’s now recovering at home while continuing medical care.
