It is with heavy, broken heart that we are announcing the closing of our shop FatTees. This place has been my life since we opened 20 years ago at our first location on First Street. I think we still fill a needed niche in downtown Salida, but business has fallen off so drastically over the last 7 months, that we just can't find a way forward. We've endured recessions before, but the combination of factors happening right now have caused us to throw in the towel before we go completely broke. We will begin liquidating our inventory today, with a 20% off sale on everything in the store, (online included as soon as we set that up), and increasing discounts over the next month or so until we sell out.
There have been SO many tears, and so much reluctance with this decision. It's effecting my health, too, so I guess it's time to just do it. I don't know what the future will hold for us, but I'm really really trying to think of this as a door opening to something new. It's difficult. 🙁
Thank you to everyone that has supported this little shop over the years. We are proud to have been a part of the downtown Salida Business community for the last THIRTY YEARS! (including Beadsong). It's just so hard to let go. 🙁
