And this- this is why I do what I do. I really enjoyed raising funds this past Nov/December and being able to help The Epoch Dream Center get tons of books for their center!! They value the importance of children’s literacy and I love to be able to support that. ❤️❤️❤️

Okay here is my exciting news for those of you biting your nails in anticipation!
Did you know that September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month? I have been wanting to give back in a tangible way lately and thinking on the best opportunity/time, and I had an idea.
For this next week I am leading a Cuddle Bear Drive! With every $25 in donations, a set consisting of the Cuddle Bear storybook and matching plush teddy bear will be donated to Brooke's Toy Closet at Tidal Health Hospital (formerly PRMC). This program at our local hospital was created/started by Brooke Mulford in 2014 as she was battling cancer herself, and is one of the many ways her legacy continues in our community as sadly, she passed in 2017.
Each pediatric patient in the hospital is able to pick out a toy/book from Brooke's Toy Closet to take home with them. I would just LOVE to be able to stash the closet up with our Cuddle Bear books and plush teddy bears... just think about how comforting it would be for them at such a scary time!!
Some neat things about Usborne Books & More and this specific cause- UBAM will donate proceeds from EACH Cuddle Bear book and/or set purchase, straight to the Scott Carter Foundation that supports Pediatric Cancer research.
Another awesome thing about UBAM- they are matching this drive at 50%! So, if you were able to donate $50, they would contribute an additional $25 and I would be able to donate THREE SETS just with that $50 you donated!! With that being said, ANY amount of donation is accepted and very much appreciated!!
My goal is to raise $500 in the next week, with UBAM's 50% match
would give $750 and we would be able to donate 30 Cuddle Bear sets to the toy closet. Wouldn't that be amazing?!
