THIS ISN’T ME!!

Can you actually believe it?! We’ve got our first photo on the feed that has a real life customer in it - not ME.

I can’t. I’m dreaming. Someone wake me up.

YOU are the reason I work so hard on .included.co - when I was first starting this whole business it was because I was so so frustrated with shopping. Clothing is not made for us, it’s cut to one shape. And that’s the shape of a mannequin.

But you are so much more than a mannequin. You’re lovely and bold! Strong and proud. You’re curves and height and imperfections and love.

You are so unique and valued.

I hope as you wear Included Co clothing you feel proud and happy. Treat others with kindness and appreciation. Do the right thing and stand up for others.

As soon as I posted these pants in my stories you guys started asking questions…

The main question was “what type of shoes would you wear with these?”

Great question. We’re so used to skinny jeans that a wide leg pant can definitely leave you feeling confused. The answer? Anything! My favorite are heels and sneakers, but these look fantastic with flats, boots, sandals, you name it.

There’s a rule out there that says you shouldn’t wear something baggy with another baggy item. For example, if you wear a baggy sweatshirt you should pair it with skinny jeans. If you wear baggy pants, wear a form fitting top.

Most of the time I’d agree with this rule. If you have a hard type dressing for your body type thats a general rule of thumb you can keep in mind. However, we break rules here and I love wearing baggy with baggy. My exception is to tuck in your top - either a French tuck or all the way around.

Here are 6 ways to wear these wide leg jeans + what shoes I’d pair with them.

These jeans are all about comfort and feeling like yourself. My favorite way to wear them is simply with a cute T-shirt. I’ve noticed I feel most like myself lately when comfort is put first. Baggy overalls, baggy pants, sweatshirts that drown me.

Guys.... this is MY body.

So yesterday, I saw a post from asking for models who were willing to pose n**e so they could accurately draw up bodies to showcase all of our beautiful, different body types.

I IMMEDIATELY offered to do it and they reached out to me to chat. They thanked me for offering and said “not many people are comfortable posing n**e...” so which I said “I’m not comfortable posing n**e.. but I’m going to, as sort of a self love exercise. “
I’ve never. Ever. Done something like this but it was something I felt I needed to do for me.

posted how empowering it is to have a portrait of your body for your home (or just to keep to yourself) and I’ve gotta tell you.... they 👏🏻were👏🏻not👏🏻wrong👏🏻

Ever feel like you’re not in the right skin?

As we’re getting ready to move, I’ve been pinning like a mad woman. Pinning house renovation inspo, aesthetic inspo, new life inspo. And it’s done two things to me:

1. I’ve been seeing a whole lot of dream scenarios and it’s brought up a lot of “i wish” statements in my head. “I wish I had more money..” “I wish I was more organized” “I wish I were MORE/had MORE”

2. I’ve been really motivated to change and be and do better.

So this begs the question... is social media helpful or harmful? I’d answer - both. There’s absolutely negative side effects from taking in too much perfection. But doesn’t it also help, kind of?

I guess this is the difference between inspo and facade. But when is that line crossed?

I’m super interested in what you think about this. When does inspo become harmful? Does posting outfits like I do harm your mental state or help?

How can I do/be better? Thoughts?

More ☀️summer to fall 🍁transition outfits! Featuring my dog. 🐶

Let me explain what you’re looking at and then we can point out the tips. The middle picture of each slide are the “bones” (spooky season 😏🎃) of the outfit. The left photo is how I’d wear it in the summertime and the right photo is how I’d wear it in the fall!

I chose mostly skirts because I felt they’re the hardest to transition with cooler weather - jeans are the easy peasy.

Can you spot the tips from yesterday’s post? If not, let’s review:

🍁 Forget the rules - floral IS a fall look.

🍁Layers - my easy solution to transitional outfits are sweaters.

🍁 Invest in a neutral colored jacket - my easy choice is my pleather jacket that I thrifted.

🍁Dont be afraid of short skirts - tights or boots will be a life saver! Can’t go wrong with both.

Another thing I want to point out is not to be afraid of colors this winter. Browns and oranges are of course an easy choice for fall time, but experiment with reds and pinks! Summer colors can be fall colors.

Fulfilling orders right now and I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude. 💕

There’s so many thoughts but mostly I just want to thank you. Thank you for your support, for your engagement, for your love.

Like the Loujain shirt (which is almost sold out 😉🥳) says, together is the only way. We’re in this together. YOU have helped me get one step closer to being able to work with my daughter. YOU have helped me take one step closer to a life where she can do whatever her heart is set on because I can support her.

I only put self tanner on my upper body - the title of my memoir.

I’m not sure if I should post this as a fashion do or don’t? How about both 😂 not my finest moment but here we are.

Can we get a 👍🏻👍🏻 for monotone outfits?? We know all white and all black is a thing but all brown doesn’t get its turn often 👏🏻 enough👏🏻. And I’m sorry, brown sweater and skirt, I’m sorry. I don’t give you your chance to shine as much as I should and you’ve proven me wrong.

Going outside of your comfort zone is not only FUN AND EXCITING but it’s how you figure out who you are! The times I’ve felt most like me is when I’ve been pushed in a direction I’m not used to going.

I get messages from people saying they’re afraid they can’t pull off [insert anything].. but the reality is you absolutely can. You just have to try. TRY new things! Do what scares you! I know this is pretty deep on a picture of a sweater, but hey... inspiration comes when we least expect it.

I never wear brown. Like, truly, never. And this might be a new fav outfit for this fall.
