It's been quite a while since I've posted sweet friends. When I saw this little video my heart smiled. After stepping away from our little comfort quilt and crafters to concentrate all of our time and efforts into Tom's health struggles with cancer and our many many trips way up to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Hospital. Happily he has gone through the chemo with flying colors and though he does have side effects from the hormone therapy he gets every three months we are so thankful. Feeling blessed beyond measure to have been lifted up in prayers. I will be rescheduling our meetings again. So looking forward to seeing those gals who can meet in our area and connecting long distance with helping hands, hearts, talents and ideas with Holding Heartstrings for others. Sending my love and prayers for our members and their families. Please include one of our founding members Lori Bushnell in your prayers too who is undergoing breast cancer treatment.

Good morning,

I wanted to let you know that due to unforeseen circumstances we have decided we need to cancel the Saturday Sew-cial that was scheduled to be held at The Willow Creek Community Services Building in Willow Creek. I will be posting this on our FB page and other sites as well as contacting those who had given me an RSVP.

Thank you once again for the kindness you've shown and your interest i. Our programs. In the future we've decided since our group at this point is small that it would just be easier to meet here at my home where all of our fabrics and supplies are. I hope we might call on you again sometime to use the room if we've got something special planned though. We're tickled to continue our work to support our community as we can, enjoy each other's fellowship and holding heartstrings with the projects we're making. As you know, we've been collecting denim jeans to cut apart and the projects are adorable! I'll send a couple pictures from my phone. Thank you SO much for your donations of jeans and fabrics! We're putting them to good use to support youth programs of Dream Quest in Willow Creek. Check out some of the cute aprons!
