History of Mr. Boots
James Timm, after a career in farming and a assistant manager for J. C. Penny’s decided to open a western store in 1974, in a small, 1,500 square foot space. His father Walter Herman Timm was a German immigrant from Germany who came over when he was just 1 year old with a family of 7. Forty five years later his sons Walter and David have been running and managing the store. We are currently located at 2130 W. Beauregard, in a old F. W. Woolworth location, over 15,000 sq. fit store. At 84 yo, James Timm is still working part-time. We have over 100 lines of boots, hats, clothes and accessories. We have over 23,000 followers on Facebook and a very loyal 200 mile radius of San Angelo, which are very loyal customers...and thanks to all of our Facebook family we have loyal customers all over this great nation..God Bless the USA
