🚨 USPS TRACKING ISSUES 🚨
I am aware of several USPS tracking issues right now that are completely out of my control. Unfortunately, I cannot get any additional information from USPS or Shopify beyond what you see. These issues are happening nationwide and are affecting thousands of packages, not just mine, so please keep that in mind. 🤣
📦 Tracking showing “Delivered” in April on orders I just shipped.
Yep, we’ve seen this before. I know it’s alarming, but this happened a few months ago and every single package eventually delivered normally.
The best explanation I’ve received is that USPS recycles tracking numbers. So if you click your tracking and it says “Delivered” in April… PLEASE DON’T PANIC. 😅
This is happening to thousands of packages. In most cases, your package will continue moving normally, but you may not see another update until it is scanned at delivery.
Seriously… don’t panic. I repeat, DO NOT PANIC. 😂
📦 Tracking sitting for days with no updates or getting stuck at certain facilities
I’ve seen delays and missed scans at several major hubs, including:
• North Houston
• Kansas City
• Dallas
• Atlanta
Trust me, I know it’s frustrating.
Once your label is printed, your package is either picked up or dropped off within 24 hours. There is simply nothing more I can do on my end.
I am serious considering adding UPS as a shipping option.
Right now, the average delivery time I’m seeing with USPS is about 6 days from the time packages leave me. Some packages arrive in 2–3 days, and some take longer. Once USPS has your package, I cannot speed up their process.
❤️ Finally…
My business is not the only one affected. There are thousands of scans that someone needs to fix. Hundreds and hundreds of businesses are having the same trouble as I am.
What I cannot control is USPS’s speed or their ability to scan packages.
Thank you for your patience, your support, and for loving this little business enough to keep me hopping! I appreciate everyone more than you know. 🫶
