N-V-Us Fashions & Boutique is your fashion stop offering unique, designer fashions for ALL sizes at a price for the woman who is a fashionista at heart, who likes trends but its the classic quality one craves! Born in Galveston, TX, into a family of 4, but grew up an only child, she was destined for fashion from birth as her chic and stylish mother hosted an annual fashion and food event, The Para
de of Salads. Her first shopping experience at age 13 at Lowe's Boutique kicked off her love of boutique fashion, especially the idea of unique styles and fabrics in limited quantities. Pat earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and became an Implementation Technology Manager for technology development and deployment, responsible for requirements analysis, development, testing and implementation. But the idea of owning her own business was never far from her mind and, when the opportunity arose, years later, her entrepreneur husband was a great support and wisely counseled her, “Whatever you decide, make it something you love doing.”
Pat says enthusiastically, “And what did I love doing? My sister helped me land an appointment with a supplier in the Dallas Market center and, the moment I stepped inside, I knew what I wanted to do; open a boutique.” She launched N-V-Us Fashions and Boutique in May of 2010, quickly gaining a robust online presence and hosting various events and pop-up shops in different cities throughout the year, bringing unique fashion styles, including African ones, to women and men across the country! Knowing how important it is to give back in thanks for her success, Pat has held numerous fundraisers for various charities, especially The Alzheimer's Association of South Texas, for which she volunteers, holding an annual fundraiser for them since 2016 and participating in the “Walk for the Cure” 3 years running. She also mentors several up and coming entrepreneurs, from a shoe boutique owner to a caterer, passing down the secrets of her success. Pat says, “I wanted a boutique where women could find unique, timeless pieces that would withstand time and trends and that’s what I’ve been blessed with!”
