The same would say that they are irresponsible, have no job, and do drugs all day. Historically that would be correct on both counts. Yet the ‘New Age Hippy’ is of a totally different breed. Yes we adhere to the mentality of a peace-loving, live-life-to-the-fullest ideology. But where we separate ourselves from such a negative stereotype is in the fact that we have jobs; We work, and work hard; we live and strive within the system and rather than completely oppose it, we challenge it to be better; we have responsibilities and place ourselves in life positions to succeed and make a difference in the world; and ultimately, we are everywhere, completely integrated into global society. We are intelligent, We are educated, We are creative, We have ambition, and no matter what We will succeed…We Are A Movement, and This Is a lifestyle.
