opening a few more spots for fall brides 🤍

and apparently I couldn’t just sew in a Luna + June label without adding tiny blue bows. 🩵💙🤍

If a bridal cardigan is on your wedding wishlist, now is a very good time to get your order in. Each one is embroidered to order and I only take on so many at a time.

Want a Luna + June one? Shop through the link in my bio and if you have something custom in mind, message me. I can usually make it happen.

She’s back. ❤️

Cherry red cashmere is finally restocked.
I’ve been updating inventory all week, and most colors and sizes are back on the website.

If you’ve been waiting for one, now’s the time.

And if you hop over and don’t see your size, send me a message. I’m still working through inventory and can double-check what’s available before you miss out.

2019. I started making name sweaters because I wanted to build something that let me stay home with my kids. I just thought I had more time to figure it out.

2020, I got laid off. The plan I was easing into, I had to jump into with both feet, ready or not.

I figured out the rest as I went — the stitch, the transfer, the finish — one sweater at a time.

Seven years and thousands of sweaters later, I’m still home with my kids. Still stitching. Still grateful it happened the way it did.

The tutorial is everything I learned the hard way, so you don’t have to start from zero. It started with one sweater. Yours can too.

Last year I stitched this hat for my mother-in-law’s birthday.💛🤎

A year later... she still tells me how much she loves it!

She wears it all the time, tells me about the compliments she gets, and somehow reminds me almost every time I see her that it’s one of her favorite gifts she’s ever received.

That’s the thing about handmade gifts.
People don’t just remember what you gave them.
They remember that you made it just for them.

For anyone wondering how I made it:

🧵 I used my spice lid trick to space the lazy daisy flowers.
💜 I traced them with a purple air-soluble marker.
🪡 Six strands of embroidery floss for the petals and French knots for the centers.

The funny part?
I found the perfect hat for her birthday this year...
So I guess I’m trying to top myself. 😂

I’ll share it in Stories tomorrow before I start stitching because I need your help deciding on the design.

🤍 Save this for your next handmade gift idea.
