Heavily rooted in fine arts, Taylor developed a love for anything creative at a very young age, with the encouragement from her parents. She simultaneously grew a love for bathing suits with countless days at the beach as a child; and after struggling with body images in her teens, she developed an even more personal connection to them. It wasn’t until I experienced pain that I was lead to purpose
. By beginning inward, I started to figure out what makes me tick, who I was identifying myself as. After that, things started making sense. I had to find my soul and follow my passion — I was determined to do my work for this life. Painting became my escape and I had complete control over it. By bringing color to the canvas, I was bringing color into my life. It was through painting that I was given a gift that helped define who I was and what I could become. This exploration made me not afraid of making mistakes. I trusted myself that I could turn those mistakes into something meaningful. I applied this to both my artwork and my life. After time reflecting on a way to merge art and fashion, a concept of wearable art on bikinis evolved. Her first collection is a complete homage to life leading up to present day Taylor-drawing inspiration from the music and art culture she’s grown from. Featuring exclusive prints, comfortable yet luxurious fabrics, and versatile, body conscious designs, everything has meaning. From painting on canvas to printing on fabric this is truly my heart and soul.
