Day one of the Sweetest Heart of Mary Pierogi Festival is coming to an end, and what an absolute blast it has been! ❤️ It always means so much to be back in my hometown, but seeing my family come out to visit me at the festival makes it even more special. Thank you to everyone who stopped by today—it was wonderful catching up with so many familiar faces! If you haven’t made it yet, there’s still plenty of time. It’s been a little quiet on my end again because I’ve been so busy getting everything ready for the Sweetest Heart of Mary Pierogi Festival tomorrow! (And no, I’ve not been adjusting well to this jet lag either 😂) It’s definitely a little trickier now that I no longer have a home base in Detroit and have been driving all over Metro Detroit picking up inventory and getting everything organized. Lots of miles, but we’re almost ready!

I was so happy I got to squeeze in at least one fun stop. Every time I’m back in Detroit, I make it a point to pick up a bottle of spirits for the hubby from my favorite distillery, Two James Distillery. Even better, I got to see Cassidy! ❤️ You probably recognize her as one of our gorgeous Recultured Designs models. I’m always so grateful that she makes time to catch up whenever I’m in town. It was the perfect little break before a busy festival weekend. Hope to see some of you at the festival this weekend!

I’m sorry I’ve been so MIA this past week since my husband and I returned from Korea! This has honestly been the worst jet lag I’ve ever experienced. With a 16-hour time difference, even nearly a week later I still can’t seem to get back on schedule. There hasn’t been a single day when I’ve fallen asleep or woken up at the same time, and I’ve been feeling completely exhausted. Now I’m getting ready for a whole new round of jet lag as I prepare to fly to Detroit tomorrow! 🤣

There is so much to do as I get ready for the Sweetest Heart of Mary Pierogi Festival in my hometown of Detroit, Michigan. You can find us Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the vendor tent—I hope to see you there!

I just wanted to share a few more pictures from South Korea with you! One of the things that struck me most was how artistic and creative the shops and businesses were with their displays—and the incredible scale of it all. Believe it or not, the first picture is an H&M! So many flagship stores had the most spectacular displays, turning an ordinary shopping trip into a complete visual experience. South Korea truly takes retail design to another level!!

I couldn’t be happier for Karolina from Polish Foodies - The Best Polish Food Recipes on what I believe was her first appearance on the Polish festival scene here in the United States! She was invited to the Cheektowaga Polish Festival in New York, and from everything I heard, she absolutely knocked it out of the park. She even sent me this wonderful photo of the three ladies dressed in Recultured Designs, and seeing it truly made my day!

Seoul was an absolute dream. 🇰🇷✨ Words can’t describe just how much I fell in love with South Korea. I’m just sharing a little snippet of our adventures for now.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the breathtaking Gyeongbokgung Palace. Walking through this enormous royal palace complex truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. The architecture, the mountain backdrop, and the incredible history made it one of the most unforgettable places we’ve ever visited.

I’ll definitely be sharing more from our trip over the coming days, but first… I’m trying to recover from traveling halfway across the world. 😂 Jet lag is definitely winning at the moment! Until then, here’s a little glimpse of this beautiful country that completely stole my heart. ❤️
