We grew up in an era where your jacket was your status. The world happened outside and you had to be seen in it. The late ‘90s didn’t just have a style; it had a dress code. And the code was technical outdoor gear.

It wasn’t about climbing a mountain, at least not for most of us. It was about being ready for all conditions. You’d spend all day out, from school yards to parking lots to nowhere in particular. A North Face Gore Tex jacket wasn’t just insulation; it was a badge. It spoke of practicality, of a certain rugged credibility, of being built for action in an otherwise low-key time.
Our graphic is a homage to that moment. It’s a nod to the technical outerwear of the late ‘90s. It captures the spirit of gear that was built for a purpose but lived a thousand lives on the streets. It was the status for the everyday explorer, back when exploration meant just staying out until the streetlights flickered on.
