Posting this with mixed emotions.

This jersey started as a fun project during what was supposed to be a celebratory time, seeing Claude Lemieux honored to carry the torch brought back a lot of memories from when I was a young kid starting to get into hockey. Brought me back to when I was fully convinced for a good 10 or so years that he was Mario Lemieux’s brother and it finally took an invention like the internet and Wikipedia for me to realize that is was possible for two hockey players with the same last name to be totally unrelated. Back to the jersey, so I had this blank Canadiens jersey in my closet for a while and could never decide who to put on it. I was going to go with Roy, but had mixed thoughts on him as he didn’t have the greatest exit in Montreal. But after watching Lemieux pump up the home crowd, the decision felt obvious. I put the finishing touches on the jersey the night before hearing the heartbreaking news yesterday, which makes posting it now feel surreal. What started as a tribute during a special moment in his life suddenly carries a much different feeling.

I originally intended to keep it for myself, but I’d rather see it go to a Canadiens fan or a big Lemieux fan who will truly appreciate it more.

RIP to one of hockey’s unforgettable competitors.

For those who haven’t laid eyes on the inaugural season Predators jersey, it it one of the more unique jerseys in NHL history.

Back in the late 90s the NHL jersey world was basically the Wild West. Teams weren’t locked into one league-wide supplier yet, so everybody was doing their own thing — CCM, Starter, Nike, Pro Player, KOHO, etc. Somehow the Predators ended up going with Bauer for their inaugural season.

Which makes this even crazier now:
this is the ONLY NHL jersey Bauer ever made, and you can only find them in the authentic on ice version.

The quality on these is unreal too. Heavy construction, oversized bubble crest, silver dazzle accents, inaugural season patch — everything about it screams late 90s hockey.

Jerseys from this era all had their own personality depending on who made them, and this is one of the best examples of that.

I know it’s tough for Sabres fans right now (myself included) getting so close to moving on to the eastern conference finals not only to watch the team that barely beat you absolutely rolling in game one against the Hurricanes. First up we have one of the most 90s jerseys imaginable, the game worn Rimouski Oceanic with the teal/purple color combo and the sublimated tie dye sleeves. Absolutely hammered by the way with game wear. And then the iconic, OG Lightning jersey. By far their best iteration to date.

After watching the Olympics gold medal match between team, USA and Canada, I felt inspired to come up with a jersey design to commemorate the historic win for Team 🇺🇸. So I gritted my chipped teeth, worked feverishly and came up with this “1 of 1” custom team USA, Jack Hughes practice jersey.

I pulled in inspiration from past jerseys. The logo is the gorgeous logo used during the 1976 Canada cup tournament. The numbers are pulled from the late 80s and early 90s jerseys. The star used as a shadow behind the sleeve numbers is inspired by the iconic 1996 jersey. And finally everyone knows the font used in the J.Hughes name on the back.

Note: Because this was made from a team-issued practice jersey, there is slight ghosting around some of the crest corners from the original application. The new crest covers about 95% of it, but a small amount is still faintly visible. It’s hard to see, but I did my best to photograph it clearly. This has been reflected in the pricing.

Gold medal fit for today’s matchup 🥇🇺🇸

Breaking out a classic — a 1996 Team USA Keith Tkachuk jersey. Few sweaters carry more attitude than this era, and the bold star-spangled striping still hits just as hard today.

Even better? The Tkachuk name is back on the ice, with Matthew and Brady carrying the torch for Team USA.

And let’s be honest — while this white version is iconic, the blue 1996 USA jersey might be the greatest sweater Team USA has ever worn. Absolute peak design.
