*Added note* This is a very rare case, but is happening more and more.

Yes this is a Rattlesnake, not a Bullsnake that SWAM onto someones paddleboard! But we have had unconfirmed reports of Bullsnakes doing the same thing.

This is almost unheard of even for us! And we see a lot of strange things out here!

I'd recommend going further out away from shore if you are launching from the walk-in gates.

We as Rangers will relocate the snake to a safe space. We do not throw it in the water. Because then it could turn into someone else problem.

We do not carry snake equipment on our patrol boat, so we had to pull the paddleboard onto it while the snake was wrapped around the fin.

Went into shore and released it back into the coves.

We take photos like this for training and educational purposes.
