Fun Fact: Did y'all know that Sirena, our very own indigenous mermaid has purchased her fins for over 9 years here at Freaky Findz!

Our very own Sirena, the Indigenous Mermaid of the San Marcos River (and also Bobcat Alum) began her mermaid fin mission serving children and families across Texas about ten years ago HERE at Freaky Findz!

Her son who is also Texas State University's former USAF Bobcat Wing Commander is the one that bought his momma her mermaid costume here! His friends coined her, "Sirena" which is 'mermaid' in Spanish when thousands of years ago (circa 2006) she would swim and read and clean up the river with her son and his San Marcos Rattler football brothers.

Sirena would like to thank Freaky Findz for over ten walk-able costumes that help her be,

"The mermaid that grows feet when there are little ones in need."

Sirena is the proud founder of MermA.I.D. You can find her once a month at our San Marcos Public Library!
