You’ll find this saying on my website and on the tag of every radio strap I make.

These are the people — my family — who make those words true.

🚒 My son, Austin — a firefighter carrying on the tradition

🚒 My dad, Mike — 46 years of service

🚒 My father-in-law, Ray — 35 years of service

🚒 My grandfather, William — a firefighter before them all

I am incredibly proud to have grown up in a firefighting family, and even more proud to watch that tradition continue with my son.

Now I’d love to hear about the first responders in your life.

This part of the process isn’t flashy, but it might be one of the most important.

Before any paint touches the leather, each letter is carefully prepped so the paint permanently bonds to the strap and holds up to years of wear.

The goal isn’t just to make it look good on day one.

It’s to make sure it still looks good years down the road.

To celebrate Independence Day and recognize the firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics who serve our communities, Riveted Leatherworks is giving away a personalized radio strap.

The strap will be handcrafted from black English bridle leather with matte black solid brass hardware and personalized with the name of your choice, hand stamped and painted by me.

Please note: this giveaway strap will not include stitching.
