What an incredible weekend at CraftFest Cotuit! ❤️

The weather couldn’t have been better, and I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by my booth. It was wonderful meeting so many new customers and getting the chance to catch up with some familiar faces, too!

You certainly kept me busy! I made 29+ belts at the Belt Bar over the weekend, and my door k**b pockets were such a hit that I completely sold out — even the display ones went home with someone! 😊

I truly can’t thank you all enough for supporting my little leather business. Every purchase, kind word, conversation, and person who stopped by my booth means more to me than you probably realize. ❤️

And I have to give a HUGE thank you to my behind-the-scenes crew — my husband Ed, my daughter Abbie, and her boyfriend Keith. From running the register and helping customers choose their belts to hauling boxes, setting up displays, and packing it all back up again… I truly couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for always being willing to jump in wherever I need you!

Now it’s back to the workshop to restock! 😂

Next up: Seaside Festival in Yarmouth, October 10–11! I hope to see some of you there!

Tomorrow’s craft fair adventure has officially begun… and the first event is always Car Jenga. 😂

And look at that… I even managed to save the passenger seat for my helper! 🙌

Everything fit, the car is packed to the roof, and we’re ready to get this whole puzzle unloaded and set up!

Lucy wasn’t exactly thrilled about the photo shoot… but she was paid in treats, so no complaints have been filed. 😉

Ruby and I traded the workshop for the trails yesterday. 🥾🐾

It was Ruby’s very first real hike, and she did surprisingly well! We made it around the entire 1.3-mile loop at Ryder Conservation in Sandwich (one of my favorite quick hikes on Cape Cod).

Like any true German Shorthaired Pointer, her nose barely left the ground. She zigzagged from one scent to the next, determined not to miss a single thing. 😂

I was especially thankful for the leather leash I made with the extra grip. Being able to securely grab the “throat” of the leash gave me just the control I needed whenever Ruby got a little too excited and started pulling ahead.

Maybe I’m a little biased because I make them… but every hike reminds me why I do. I love the feel of the leather, but it’s that extra grip and control that makes it my favorite feature.
