Road Closures https://sanfordspringvalenews.com/?p=54928 Cottage Street (Route 202) will be closed on weekdays. The closure is expected to remain in place through July 31, 2026. The road will close daily at 8 am, with varying reopening times. Motorists should follow posted detours and expect delays. Access to some driveways and businesses may be temporarily restricted. The intersection of Winter Street, River Street and Cottage Street will be closed from July 13 to 16 from 8 am-8pm. Sherburne Street will be closed to through traffic from July 15 to 26. Local businesses will remain open and accessible. New Traffic Pattern: A new four-way stop at the intersection of Grammar Road and Grammar Street will take effect. Motorists are encouraged to use caution and be aware of the new traffic pattern. New traffic calming measures to aid pedestrians have been installed on Main Street in front of the Hannaford supermarket. 🚧 **We're Open Today Until 6:00 PM!** 🚧

Despite the road construction, **Wears Bonnie Scrubs is OPEN today until 6:00 PM**, and **you can still access our parking lot!**

✅ **Access is available from the River Street side**, either:

* Through the **Cigarette City** side, or
* Through the **Central Furniture** side.

While most of the surrounding roads remain closed, these routes will get you into our parking lot.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this month-long construction project. Your continued support means so much to our small business, and we look forward to seeing you today!

🚧 Construction Update 🚧

Access to our store has been limited for most of this week due to the ongoing road construction. We've been doing our best to navigate the changes each day and make it as easy as possible for our customers to reach us. We truly appreciate your patience and continued support!

If it's difficult to get to the store, you can always shop the same great selection of scrubs on our website at wearsbonnie.com.

The good news is that, based on what the construction crews have told us, most of the work in front of our store should be completed by Wednesday of next week. After that, they plan to move up the street toward Cottage Street. We're hopeful that by the middle of next week, access to our store will be back to normal.

🚧 Construction Update 🚧

Due to the ongoing construction right in front of my business, I will be closed temporarily during the week.

The construction crews are digging up the intersection where the traffic light is located and are now cutting up the sidewalk directly in front of my front door, making access to the shop difficult and unsafe.

The good news is I hope to be OPEN Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support while this project is completed. I'll keep everyone updated as construction progresses and look forward to getting back to normal business hours soon! 💙

🚧 **Construction Update & Weekend Hours** 🚧

Due to the ongoing construction, access to our store continues to be a challenge. Unfortunately, we're located right in the middle of the construction zone and, unlike many of the surrounding businesses, we don't have a side street or back entrance for customer access.

**To better serve our customers, we will be OPEN every Saturday and Sunday in July from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM while construction is ongoing.** We hope these weekend hours will make it easier for you to shop for your scrubs.

We're also working diligently to find additional ways for customers to safely access our store and will continue to keep you updated as we learn more.

Please be advised that this construction project is affecting **all** of the local businesses in the construction area. 🚧 **IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS – JULY ROAD CONSTRUCTION** 🚧

Beginning **Monday, July 6**, the City of Sanford and the Sanford Sewerage District will begin a major sewer infrastructure project that will impact **Winter Street and Cottage Street (Route 202)**. Construction is expected to continue through **Friday, July 31** and will take place on weekdays. During this project, Route 202 will be closed to through traffic beginning at **8:00 a.m. each day**, with reopening times varying based on the day's progress.

Unfortunately, this project is going to make access to **Wears Bonnie Scrubs** very challenging.

⚠️ **Please be aware:**

* Access in and out of our parking lot will be **limited throughout the month.**
* **There is NO back entrance** into our parking lot.
* At this time, I **do not have a daily or weekly construction schedule**, so I won't always know in advance whether the store will be accessible or if I'll need to close for the day.
* I am also working with **Cigarette City** to see if their parking lot may be available for customer parking. As soon as I know, I'll let everyone know.

📞 **Before making the trip to the store, I strongly recommend giving me a call or sending me an email to make sure we're open and accessible that day.**

📱 I'll also be posting **daily updates here on Facebook** to let everyone know whether we're open, temporarily closed, or if there are any changes to access.

I know this construction is going to be frustrating—not just for us, but for many of the businesses along Winter Street, Cottage Street, and up toward the hospital. While I understand this is an important project to replace aging underground sewer infrastructure that will benefit our community for years to come, I also know it will create challenges for everyone over the next several weeks.
