THIS is why we LUM! Meet Michael, the inspiration behind MikesPlayground, our charity for the Aloha tees.
Kennedy and I had a blast hanging with Michael, his mom, and his “yo-yo” (grandma) last night. It was great to see Michael smile and learn more about his day-to-day life and challenges, and how we can help create change for families with disabled kids.
We are partnering with MikesPlayground to help them break ground on their first playground (first of many I’m sure) for disabled children. Their slogan is: Transforming the lives of special needs children and young adults. Their tagline is: MikesPlayground, where EVERYONE plays!
ALL kids, able bodied and disabled, should have the opportunity to play in parks! Join me in praying for them as they launch this non-profit and enrich the lives of many disabled kids and families.

Thank you to all our subscribers for helping us donate to this wonderful non-profit. They are also working towards helping families obtain the proper medical equipment and necessities to care for kids with disabilities. After seeing Michael’s room, and the medical equipment and devices needed to manage his care, I’m even more passionate about helping those who cannot afford or have red tape around obtaining the proper equipment.
Let’s step up and create change, comfort, and joy for these amazing kids!
