Earlier this week we had a content shoot for Dylan Delivered with the amazing and these are the days that are equal parts hard work and pure joy. The kind of day where you look up and know in your core you are doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing.

Anddddd then there is the part after the shoot where you finally get to sit down, chat, sip a little something at a beautiful local restuarant like , and just take a breath 😆🍸

Hands down one of my favorite things about what I do is the community it has brought into my life. The collaborations, the clients, the people who show up and pour into this vision alongside me. I never take any of it for granted.

Santa Barbara has always been home, and days like this one remind me just how much I love doing this work in the city I love most 🤍

I think we've all been there. The vacation shopping spiral is real and it almost always ends the same way:

With a suitcase that somehow got heavier on the way home and a credit card statement that tells a very interesting story LOL

But vacation shopping in and of itself is not bad. Impulse vacation shopping can be though. And the difference comes down to asking yourself the right questions before you hand over your card.

I cannot tell you how many times I have heard someone say "I brought so much on my trip, but I felt like I had nothing to wear."

And every single time it comes back to the same thing: There was enough clothing in the suitcase, but not enough trust in the pieces that were there.

Here's the thing about the items that live in our closets rent free: they are not just taking up space physically, they are taking up mental space too.

Every time you open your closet and see the jeans that almost fit, the dress from that one occasion, the impulse purchase you still feel guilty about... all of that is mental energy you are spending before you have even gotten dressed for the day.

So here are three questions I want you to ask yourself the next time you're holding something you're not sure about:

01 — If I saw this in a store today, would I buy it?
If the answer is no, it has outgrown its place in your wardrobe. Let it go.

02 — Does this fit the life I am actually living right now?
Not the life you used to live, not the life you are working toward but the one you are living today.

03 — Do I feel good every time I put this on?
Not just okay. Not fine. Good. If the answer is anything less than yes, it probably doesn't deserve a space in your closet.
