As many of you know, I officially became a happy soul shop when my husband was put on the Kidney transplant list almost 6 years ago.
My mission was not only two bring an extra income to help my household, but to advocate.
Advocate for organ, donation, kidney disease, and mental and emotional wellness. Although I live with someone that WAS on the transplant list, I could never truly know what it felt like to be on that list. And I'm certain that there are so many different feelings that go along with being on that list.
Not to mention the weekly Dialysis and what it does to a person physically.
One of my greatest achievements in this life has been the advocacy. Meeting donors. Talking to recipients.
it is truly some of the work I'm most proud of.
And it certainly isn't going to stop now.
In fact, I plan to take it up a few notches.
Thank you all for the love and support over the years and I hope you will continue to stick around.
