Our Clothing has been around since 2012 but the word Hella it's self has likely existed in California English since at least the mid-1970s. The word is used by all racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds and both genders. No one person is responsible for the popularity of this

word although it mainly remains a West Coast term, everyone at Hella Clothing believes it will one day spread across the nation as a slang term in replacement of "really," "a lot," "totally," "very" and in most cases "really good". We get tattoos of our beautiful state silhouette surrounded by palm trees and beach scenes. What better than to continue showing support for the State of California, by rocking some clothing that represents California roots, both visually and verbally!
