I became interested in leatherwork about ten years ago after attending a 4-H Leathercraft Project enrichment day. The little bit I learned that day, has turned into a passion for the craft. I have since made it my mission to learn an old and unique style of leather carving called “Sheridan Style.” Sheridan Style Carving gets its name from the city of Sheridan, Wyoming, where saddle makers and lea

It is unique in that the style of pattern typically features a floral pattern that flows in a series of overlapping or interlaced circles. This flow tends to capture the eye and draw the attention to the details of the carving.

I finished a padded laptop bag. It has two exterior pockets, an interior laptop sleeve and an interior pocket for pens, pencils etc. it also has hidden zippers, and an adjustable shoulder strap. I used solid brass hardware so it should last forever.
