🔔Another post surgery update
Gladys is feeling better- she’s wearing her surgical pajamas- this is so we can drastically reduce the amount of time she has to wear a cone. She’s
understandably annoyed with the entire cone ordeal. These pj’s cover her wound so she won’t lick at it.
She’s doing well and still ruling the roost from her bougie bed.

A few days post op. She’s recovering well- poopocalyse has slowed and we’re just trying to get some rest.
What a great place to be recovering from a major surgery. Lots of good sniffs and bird sounds all around to distract from her owie hip.

Good morning from the 3rd coast. The wind is keeping it pleasantly cool-ish and we were able to get in a short morning walk all before we’re on our way to our longer stay destination in Port A today. Lots of evidence of coastal flooding and a warning not to drive on beaches. Only red flags 🚩 this morning no stinging friends to watch out for except the one on the road! 🐛

RV life has a funny way of adjusting your plans. Weather, health, and taking care of the dogs tend to set the schedule these days.

From sipping coffee to wild hogs, destroyed cars, ramp door opening while traveling to a gorgeous sunset and a family BBQ dinner at a favorite spot. Kind of low key Saturday 😂
Very grateful we made it safely to our destination, no telling what our multiple unplanned stops prevented us from encountering.

Miss Gladys AKA- Gladdy pants, Gladiator, Gladypus, Princess G; sustained an injury to her pretty little knee some time last week. Most likely while playing with Ace in the dog park. She’s supposed to rest and stay off it as much as possible. No off lead time in dog parks for the next several weeks. She’s got some meds for pain and inflammation and doting pawrents to lift her on and off the bed, into the truck and into the RV- fYI- she’s 61lbs so we’re getting our work outs in 🏋️.
