Ive been revisiting my roots in leatherwork lately, it feels good to have my hands on the natural materials and work on the hand stitching. Naturally, this intersected with my siren side and here was a creation. This one is made from a mix of different finishes on the leather, the midriff belt has a sort of a pearlescent finish, the hand stitching is done in h**p, added the fringes and fresh water pearls. I think this has seaside, sand dune vibes, so I thought id show all the mermaids. Unlike most of the things I post here, this isnt swim wear, dry land only for this (Although I do think leather could under some circumstances and tanning methods be used as second skin swimwear, that is another creation for another day, not this one).
