Sappy business moment, but High Sierra Music Festival , you’ll always have my heart!

This show landed me in the Family Village 10 years ago, and I never left this place. I’ve raised my two girls in this festival space. My younger daughter is a High Sierra lifer who has been there since 6 weeks old, and my older daughter sat through our first high Sierra in 2016 in the corn pit for 4 days straight with kiddos from every walk of life at 4 years old. Just the two of us, she inspired me so much by showing up to socialize and get down and have fun. Watching her do her thing made me realize the value on taking your kiddos to this amazing festival. I can’t say this about every festival experience I have, but this one is different, and I would not have it any other way.

There’s something truly magical that manifests every time we come here. Kids are mostly off their screens immersed in a musical journey with their families. The girls had small businesses built within mine and made their own money. We giggled in our tent, listened to a primus cover band, woke up early to hear the cheering on the kickball field, took a ride on a magical jellyfish, ate giant pizza slices, met amazing people and reconnected with our old friends we can call family. It blows my mind every time and I’m so grateful for this experience.

Tomorrow I’ll be posting this upcoming week’s schedule. There’s a lot going on and some changes jn my market schedule. Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! ❤️

Calirooooooots! what an amazing, exhausting, and beautiful weekend of vending with and and thank you to for the incredible booth support. This is what women who support women really looks like. No bu****it, no drama, just real people doing real things leaving their worries at the door, and plugging through an aggressive sales weekend. I love my business, it’s hard work, it takes careful planning, sweat, time, authenticity, heart and soul. I love that I grew these connections through the help of these caring, drama free women.
