I’ve been thinking a lot about what “healthy fabric” really means.
For me, it isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about making more informed choices about the fabrics we bring into our homes and put against our skin every day.
That’s why I pay close attention to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and stock my shop with it. It tests finished textiles for a wide range of harmful substances, giving you another layer of confidence when choosing fabric for clothing, bedding, baby items, and everyday sewing.
Natural fibers are beautiful, but the fiber itself is only part of the story. How a fabric is dyed, finished, and processed matters too.
Healthy fabric can simply mean choosing better where you can, especially for the things that spend the most time close to your body.
Small shifts. Thoughtful choices. Beautiful things made by hand. 🌿
