Well, the weather in Bowie, Texas hasn't disappointed lol. Started the event with high winds that kept us from opening on day one. Yesterday was a struggle but we made it. Today, well, today we're chosing to just feel the blessings our heavenly father sends our way.
The over night storms ramped up and our canopy decided it had had enough. It was already coming apart in places just from the wind moving it around. The recessed nuts and screws kept us from tightening them since we didn't apparently haul enough tools.
After dismantling and tossing the third time used 10x20 canopy, we went to Walmart and bought two 10x10's and started again.
The weather app said winds were going to be 3-5mph today. Wrong! Hold on to your wigs, eyelashes and skirts! The tents are on their own. We're tired but ready for shoppers!
