History came to life recently here at The Village Mercantile!

We had the privilege of welcoming none other than **President and Mrs. Calvin Coolidge** as they made a special stop during a historical reenactment of President Coolidge’s time in the Adirondacks. It was such a treat to see him strolling through downtown Saranac Lake, greeting visitors and locals just as he did nearly a century ago.

The Coolidges will be “staying” at White Pine Camp through September, making this the perfect time to experience a little living history. Pair a visit to White Pine Camp with a stroll through our charming downtown, and don’t forget to stop in and say hello while you’re here!

We're celebrating with the community today! Please note that we'll be closing at 2:00 PM so our team can enjoy the festivities.
