Hay fechas que no se explican del todo.
Se sienten.

Día de Mu***os, para nosotros, es eso.

Es volver a poner una foto sobre la mesa.
Encender una vela.
Comprar flores.
Preparar algo que a esa persona le gustaba.

Es hablar de ellos otra vez.
Decir su nombre.
Contar una historia que todos en la familia ya conocen… y aun así volverla a escuchar.

Porque en México recordar también es una forma de seguir amando.

Y quizá por eso esta fecha nos toca tan profundo.

Nos recuerda que las personas que amamos no desaparecen por completo.

Se quedan en nuestras costumbres.
En lo que nos enseñaron.
En nuestra manera de querer.
En las cosas que hacemos casi sin darnos cuenta.

Y mientras sigamos hablando de ellos, recordándolos y llevando un poquito de lo que fueron dentro de nosotros…

de alguna manera, siguen aquí. 🤍

Que vivan siempre aquellos que nunca dejamos de recordar.

There are people we never really stop carrying with us.

Sometimes they come back in a recipe.
A song.
A photograph.
A smell you haven’t thought about in years.

And suddenly, for a second, they feel close again.

Maybe that’s what I love most about Día de Mu***os.

It gives memory a place to live.

In Mexico, we don’t only remember the people we love in silence.
We make space for them.
With flowers, candles, food, photographs and all the little things that remind us of who they were.

And I think that’s something we believe deeply at Montsera too.

The things we keep closest are rarely just things.
They become part of the people, places and moments we never want to forget. 🤍

Hay personas que nunca se van del todo.

A veces regresan en el olor de una comida que hacían en casa.
En una canción que alguien siempre ponía.
En una foto guardada desde hace años.
En esa taza, ese mantel, esa receta… que antes parecían cualquier cosa.

Y de pronto, sin avisar, vuelves a sentirlos cerquita.

Quizá eso es lo que más amo del Día de Mu***os.

Que en México no solo recordamos a quienes queremos.
Les ponemos un lugar en la mesa.

Sacamos sus fotos.
Preparamos lo que les gustaba.
Prendemos una vela.
Ponemos flores.

Y por un momento, la casa vuelve a sentirse llena de ellos.

Creo que por eso esta tradición me toca tanto.

Porque las cosas que más guardamos nunca son solo cosas.

Son pedacitos de nuestra familia.
De nuestra casa.
De quienes fuimos con ellos.
Y de todo lo que todavía llevamos con nosotros.

From LATAM to Paris

During Paris Fashion Week, Montsera joined Fashion X Global at Hôtel Le Marois, alongside designers from across Latin America.

There’s something powerful about seeing Latin American design take up space in cities like Paris.

Not as something “inspired by” where we come from, but as its own point of view. Refined, relevant, full of identity, and completely deserving of a place on the global stage.

So much talent, history, craftsmanship and creativity comes from our part of the world.

And seeing it recognized, worn, photographed and celebrated there felt incredibly special.

LATAM is not arriving. We’ve been here. The world is just looking a little closer now.

New York Fashion Week has a certain energy you can feel before anything even begins.

People are moving everywhere.
Someone else is steaming a look.
There’s music in the background, last-minute changes, nerves, excitement…

And for a second, you just look around and think:

We’re really here.

Not because of the lights.
Not because it’s Fashion Week.

But because you know how much had to happen for that piece to be standing there.

The hands that made it.
The people who believed in it.
The places it traveled through.
All the little moments that somehow led to this one.

And then the doors open.

And suddenly all the nerves turn into excitement.

That feeling is hard to explain.
But impossible to forget.

Mexico is that amigo who welcomed you like family before even knowing you.

That taco that somehow tasted like heaven.

That “pásale” that made you feel at home.

That canción you still remember years later.

That sobremesa you never wanted to end.

That mezcal that came with a story.

That warmth, that color, that way of making you feel like you belonged there for a little while.

And for those of us lucky enough to call it home, it’s also orgullo.

The kind you carry with you everywhere. 🇲🇽

Hay causas que simplemente te tocan el corazón. 🤍

Este 22, 23 y 24 de septiembre vamos a estar en Guadalajara participando en el Bazar Nosotros por los Niños con Cáncer. Bazar nosotros por los niños con cancer

Vamos a llevar una selección muy especial de Montsera y me emociona mucho poder formar parte de un evento con una causa tan importante.

Durante esos días, un porcentaje de nuestras ventas será donado para ayudar con el pago de tratamientos de niños con cáncer.

Creo que cuando tienes la oportunidad de sumar, aunque sea un poquito, vale la pena hacerlo. Y me encanta que esta vez podamos hacerlo junto con ustedes.

Si están en Guadalajara, vengan a vernos, a conocer la colección y a acompañarnos. Me va a dar muchísimo gusto verlos por ahí.

Sometimes the best part of visiting our artisans has nothing to do with the clothes.

It’s sitting with them while they work.
Talking about their kids.
Hearing who made lunch that day.
Laughing about something that happened in the community.

And while all of that is happening, their hands just keep moving.

They’ve done it for so long that weaving becomes part of the conversation.

And suddenly the piece in front of you doesn’t feel like just a piece anymore.

You remember the person.
The conversation.
The afternoon.

That’s the part I wish everyone could experience.

Days at The HUB, our trunk show at Lifestyle East Hampton, events, familiar faces, new ones, and so many summer moments in between.

There was a lot of work behind this month.
