Alfred Shaheen is one of the many deeply inspiring designers we carry! A true innovator, Shaheen engineered and built his own machinery to print, dye, and finish his fabrics in 1952. This lead to a highly successful & revolutionary career in the Hawaiian garment industry! Shaheen’s craftsmanship & dedication to studying native designs from Hawaii, the South Pacific, and Asia made his garments entirely authentic.❤️

This design was made using Shaheen’s manual silk-screen printing processes. He also formulated custom inks in his own Hawaiian factories to achieve these deep, vibrant colors that would last the test of time!😍👏
