Right in the middle of Summer and few weeks away from the first day of school and Fall. I am connecting into
Mstar Arts Creative Mobile Unit on the "Fibre Side" to lead the activity for reverse applique. The activity will begin at Carolyn Parr Nature Center. (TBA)
Seed to Fibre series of Palette to Place, Seed to Fibre and Fibre to Cloth will begin in Winter 2027.
If you enjoyed the abomey style technique using embroidery then you are going to enjoy the next style of applique making inspired by molas while learning the reverse appliqué technique using embroidery.

Prepping for Winter II in January 2027 along with helping Morningstar Arts Creative host the "Fibre Side" this Summer and Fall. The project we are working on is story cloth, reverse applique and patchwork. So connect with your favorite aquatic and semi-aquatic animals for the next series of activities.
