LOADING...........

The next chapter of sadcatz is on the way. This is one of those things that I will never be done with. I've been working BTS for a while now dropping hits and sharing things occasionally. I'm at a point now where I feel good showing and releasing things. I still have work to do on the website, clothing, merchandise side of stuff. but my main focus has been the Identity and brand of SADCATZ. To make your time reading this worth it I'm going to leak some stuff and give some insight.

The website will be getting an update. Cleaning things up, refreshing some stuff. I'm currently working on my branding so things aren't set in stone by any means but the website has been updated on the front end which all of those are live. however any major changes are yet to be published.

shifting gears over to blender earlier this year I began learning blender so I could have an easier time creating apparel and making cool scenes for my "manga" style drops. That is still my intention. HOWEVER I fell down a huge rabbit hole so I am adopting the assets that I made and will be using them for a game.

This "game" will be an interactive version of the t-shirt. I'm not there yet with the technicality of everything. (I barely have the engine working.) However, this entire process has been very eye opening to me. The skills, effort, and time which all of this takes gives me such a greater appreciation for all forms of art. In an age where AI is getting pushed so heavily it can be very discouraging to pursue something absolutely outlandish. But the fulfillment, understanding, and appreciation only comes from having dealt with that hardship of learning these skills.

I am working on some tips, and tricks for blender to make people's lives easier. Along with useful plugins and random stuff I have come across.

I've created an account SADCATZ which will be used for archiving and posting my BTS work. More candid / raw posts and information. I'm considering making a discord server for the same purpose. I may even start streaming sometimes if anyone would be interested in that.

I was going to showcase something but I'm not sure what happened. Looks like I'm gonna have to fix some bugs in the OS. Ill post an update when I get it all sorted out.

Hey guys, it's been a minute! First and foremost, I want to apologize for neglecting the Instagram, website, and drops. Thank you to everyone who is still supporting me and placing orders they are still being fulfilled.

I kind of hit a creative wall after my last drop, so I've been working on some projects to improve my artwork and help with my creative process.

In January, I started learning Blender. I wanted to create scenes and assets to make the artwork process easier for myself. Through that, I discovered how incredibly fun and fulfilling it is to build scenes. I initially bit off more than I could chew, but I'm at a point where I feel comfortable sharing my work.

I recreated some of my favorite locations in the SADCATZ world. Some of you have been to these locations, and I want to share those memories and vibes with more people.
I'm still learning a lot, and there's a lot more work to do. At some point, I'll make a video going over my process and doing a deep dive into the details.

I want to thank you guys again for everything. Don't worry I will still be doing drops and everything else the same as before.

Also, shout out to Tofu for being the best cat in the world, hanging out with me and literally watching me for hours on end while I make and edit models, assets, and everything in between.

To summarize 2025. Good people, Good memories, huge changes, and so much learned. Thank you guys for sticking with me and Sadcatz. I cannot wait for next year and the things to come. One of my goals is to make more things and put more time and effort back into Sadcatz so expect more from me and tofu!
