All About PBC

Hi Everyone - We are Jill (on the right in our photo) and Peggy (on the left) and we are Pine Bush Creations (PBC). We have been very close friends for a very long time and we both enjoy sewing, quilting and crafting. A few years ago, we decided to take a big step and created Pine Bush Creations.

You might be wondering, “Why that name?” We both were born in and live in the Pine Bush area of Albany/Schenectady counties in NYS and wanted to honor the place that we both love. We feel that growing up and living in the Pine Bush area is a blessing as it has remained a fairly wooded area and has a very “country/farm” feel to the area even though it is very close to shopping and suburban/urban areas.

We at PBC are dedicated to making (mostly) fabric items that are high quality but reasonably priced. Yes, creating the items takes quite a bit of time but we do it with love and patience! The creative process is a sort of therapy for us both and since we enjoy it so much, we don’t feel its necessary or appropriate to charge exorbitant prices for our items, even though they are handmade and each piece is unique.
