The weeks are flying by as they always do this time of year. It's been hard to focus on sewing I must admit...but I managed to get two more corduroy compass bags done. The linings are shown in beautiful rifle paper company prints. They will be perfect for fall markets.
Not sure what I will sew up next. I would love any suggestions. 🤔 As always, thank you for stopping to look.

I just wanted to give a little update. After much thought and consideration I have decided to list my bags on etsy again (link can be found on my page). If you notice the prices are a little higher there than when you buy directly from me, it's because Etsy charges seller fees and I have to factor in shipping costs. My shop is open but this is a time consuming process and I will be adding my inventory gradually.

I still plan on posting my new creations here on Facebook before listing them on etsy. If you're local and want to buy one of the new bags directly, just send me a message to avoid the markup.

I'm excited to have my bags on the etsy platform again because it gives me a chance to reach a bigger audience.

Summertime is so busy!! I am still sewing but have to admit that I'm looking ahead to fall markets already. I got some new beautiful corduroy fabrics and webbing in and I've been playing with some new bags and some of the classic favorites. Here are a couple that I have finished. The first bag is a chestnut compass bag (bucket) and the back bag is a new zipper hobo bag in slate blue.. Sorry I dont have more photos...but as always message me if you would like to know more. I've been on vacation this past week so haven't posted. I will share a new Aries crossbody bag that I made for my trip. I like to test out my bags to see how durable they are and this one was great. It has a main flap and interior card slots and slip pocket. Hopefully, I will be back to regular posting next week.

This pretty Crescent tote bag is available. It's medium size fits snugly under your arm and the curved lines really play up its feminine design. The zippered front pocket holds those little items you want to keep secure and its flat bottom makes it easy to set down. The outside is made from durable seafoam waxed canvas and strawberry fields accent pocket. Inside is a striped cotton with a zipper pocket and leather key strap(see comments). Full zipper closure and genuine leather straps. Bonus is the cute little zipper pouch that hooks on with a gate ring. Thank you for looking and message me if interested.

Today's bag is a selfish sew. I made a new tote bag for my upcoming trip abroad.✈️I used an old coat that I've been hanging onto...so I guess it can go in the category of upcycling as well. This bag fits nicely under the airplane seat and has a zipper closure and internal zip pocket as well as the functional outer zipper pocket. I have another on my work table out of waxed canvas that I will be offering for sale in the next few days if you like this style.

A return to a favorite handbag..the Rudenaja. Although this bag is quite labor intensive, the end result is always worth it. This bag is made of a pretty maize color vegan leather with a saddle base and top zipper panel. The 2 outer zippers are a functional pocket and the interior is a linen colored canvas with slip pocket and zipper pocket.Grab handles make it a true handbag and cute removable scarf finishes the look.This bag is quite original looking and a compliment to any wardrobe.
