The marketing team told us today was National Emoji Day.

Besides being unanimously pi**ed off that there’s an “Emoji Day,” we were even more mad at Apple because their emoji offering has always been sorely lacking.

We modified some of theirs and made a few of our own.

It’s actually crazy (and unfortunate) how many IFAKS advertised online are not stocked stoked with basic life-saving tools.

Individuals are responsible for educating themselves, and we always advocate for training first.

But praying on ignorance by selling knock-offs, cheap fakes, or stuffing a kit full of everything but reliable, proven solutions to save a dollar is wrong.

Lots of data and real-world testing are the bare minimum for a product to earn its efficacy.

No amount of marketing or influence should ever justify your choice for a tool that needs to save your life.

Don’t buy the hype. Train often. Trust real data. Carry what really works. Help others. Repeat.
