I’ve been waiting for the right time to post about Charlie Kirk and I’m finally ready
Many don’t know but I was fortunate enough to meet Charlie (through his then fiancé and now wife Erika) prior to their wedding. Erika and Charlie wanted a timeless & classic tuxedo designed for him and entrusted me with that honor.
When I first met Charlie I instantly felt a distinct energy and sensed a strong aura about him. Within the first ten minutes of speaking with him, I knew his intelligence was off the charts. The way he spoke and articulated things made an instant impact on me ( keep in mind I work with some of the smartest and most successful men in Arizona and across the country) and throughout the years of getting to know him and working with him, his savvy, intense passion for learning and the way he was able to navigate incredible personal/professional growth impressed me more than anyone I’d ever met at that age. People throw around the term prodigy often, but Charlie was a 1/1, a superpower of a human.
I was honored every time we would design his new suits and gave me a sense of accomplishment when he’d try his jacket on and have that famous Charlie Kirk grin. I was happy that he was excited with the way he looked/felt in my suits.
Although I’m not really a religious person, I live by the golden rule and he could sense that and always treated me with such grace and appreciation. His superpower spilled over onto everyone who worked for and with him and people who met him were instantly enamored by him and his wisdom.
I will be forever grateful to Erika Frantzve for allowing me to be part of such an incredible, albeit abbreviated journey.
The world will NEVER be able to replace Charles Kirk, but I have a feeling his presence will not fade and be more powerful than ever.
RIP CHARLIE
